While not mandatory, the LPA is highly recommended. It ensures your team is aligned on innovative solutions before development begins and delivers a detailed MVP roadmap outlining technologies, resources, and costs—streamlining development and providing accurate time and budget estimates.

Active participation from a diverse set of team members ensures the best outcomes. Ideally, include key stakeholders such as customers, users, business subject matter experts, technical leads, and decision-makers. This ensures alignment, faster decision-making, and a well-rounded product strategy.

Engineering is an integral part of the LPA. While product and design guide the process, technical representation is crucial for assessing feasibility, shaping technical strategy, and ensuring practical implementation.
